With reference to Sir Gilbert Grindle's letter of
21st November last, (No.62578/22), i have to state that
the Selection Committee at their meeting on the 28th ultimo
decided to recommend Miss Annie Rome Ross and Miss
Margaret Jane Munro for appointment as Mathematics Mistresses,
and Miss Hilda Marie Thompson and Miss Dorothy lieud
Farmer for appointment as General Subjects Mistresses, in
the Education Department of Hong Kong. Further particulare
of these candidates will be found in the attached papers,
